- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
- If you found a genie's lamp and had 3 wishes, what would they be? Why would you make these wishes?
- What would life be like if you were as small as an ant? Describe a day in your life!
- Imagine you could change colors and blend into your surroundings like a chameleon. What would you do?
- Make up your own superhero. What is your superhero's name? What are his/her super powers?
- You just found a secret door in your attic! Where does it lead?
- All families have traditions... What is one of your favorite family traditions? Why?
- Write about the day you spent with a snowman that came to life.
- The weather is a little mixed up this winter... Instead of snowflakes, it is snowing ______ (you decide!) Describe a day in this new snowstorm.
- Write step-by-step directions for making a cup of hot cocoa. Be detailed. Assume that the person reading your directions has never made hot cocoa.
- If you could travel anywhere in the world during the winter where would you go? Why there? What would you do there?
- Draw yourself...as a snowman! What did you put on it so that people know it’s you? Label those items on your snowman.
- What is your favorite winter outdoor activity? What do you like about it? Who is your favorite person to do it with?
- You’ve won a free trip to the North Pole! What are you going to pack? How will you get there? What do you think you’ll do while you’re there? Write a paragraph about it.
Imagine your family got a penguin. Write about what it’s like. Where do you keep it? What do you do with it? How do you feed it? How does it fit into your family? - Would you like to be famous? Why or why not? If yes, what would you want to be famous for?
- If you could be a character on a TV show or in a movie, what show would you choose? What would your character be like?
- You are stuck on a deserted island for the rest of your life. You could only pick one food and one drink to have everyday. What would it be and why?
- One day, I woke up and it was snowing marshmallows..
